RDC’s UK operational facility is HM Government approved to handle, store and eradicate data classified up to secret (IL1 – IL5).
Our secure on-site data destruction service is designed to ensure no data leaves a site and that it is disposed of or sanitised in accordance with HMG IA Standard No.5, a mandatory requirement in the HMG Security Policy Framework.
RDC’s commitment to the carbon positive reuse through the remarketing of ICT equipment supports the Cabinet Office’s Greening Government ICT targets including carbon neutrality by 2012 and delivers a sustainable ICT disposal solution. Over 80% of all ICT equipment that RDC manages is sold for reuse.
The balance is environmentally recycled providing the assurance that nothing from the recycling process ends up in landfill, with 100% recovery and over 90% recycling – the balance waste to energy recovery – vastly exceeding WEEE directive targets.
