Facilities Manager

RDC is a wholly owned subsidiary of Computacenter PLC and is Europe’s foremost processor of mobility, desktop and enterprise electronics hardware. Receiving equipment from corporations and government, securely removing data and preparing equipment for reuse in line with the objectives of the circular economy, minimising wastage whilst maximising product life.

The role is responsible for managing all facilities within a Landmarked Building. 22 Acre Site consisting of 300000 sqft of Warehouse, 50000 sqft of Offices over two floors, one being sublet.

You will be:

A self starter who is able to act autonomously and able to demonstrate a hands on, can do approach with the ability to ‘muck in’ when necessary. You should have good financial awareness with proven experience of managing a small team. You will also have the ability to stay calm under pressure. IOSH Managing Safely is required together with good Microsoft Office skills. You will need prior experience of managing a large site and looking to further develop your career.

Environmental Specialist

Receiving equipment from corporations and government, securely removing data and preparing equipment for reuse in line with the objectives of the circular economy, minimising wastage whilst maximising product life.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Specialist to join a small team. The role holder will act as a subject matter expert to our customers which will include some visits to client sites. You must be able to sell our environmental story both face to face and through the use of social media. One of our key business objectives is to be the best in industry for our Environmental programme and this role is pivotal to this. You must also be able to demonstrate an understanding of the Circular Economy and sustainable business models.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for our ISO14001 compliance. You will work with closely with Waste Management and Recycling partners as well as internal operations to further develop our Environmental Programme.

You will be:

A self starter who is able to work autonomously and as part of a team. You are passionate about the environment and enjoys imparting knowledge of the subject. You should be qualified to Lead Auditor level for ISO14001. You will need good Microsoft Office skills and exposure to compliance software.
